Product design studio under NDA · Before the first call, if you ask

“We can’t show anyone what we’re building”

Then you should not have to show us either, until the paperwork says so. We sign a mutual NDA before the first call when you ask, and we never publish client work.

Book a 30-minute call

The awkward first call

You need outside help with the product. The problem is that the product is the secret.

The flow that converts better than your competitor’s has not shipped. The feature your next round depends on is a Figma file and a promise. Every studio you talk to wants to see it before they will say anything useful, and none of them has mentioned paperwork.

So you describe the product in general terms, they answer in general terms, and both of you leave knowing nothing. That is thirty minutes nobody gets back.

Will a design studio sign my NDA before the first call?

This one will. Tell us when you book and a mutual confidentiality agreement arrives before the call. If your legal team prefers its own template, send that instead and we sign it.

If you do not ask, the NDA is still signed before we see anything meaningful: analytics dashboards, internal documentation, unreleased flows. Confidentiality runs for three years after delivery under our standard contract. It does not end when the last invoice is paid.

What stays private

Most of what we design has not been seen outside the company yet:

  • Pre-launch products that have not been announced
  • Unannounced features your competitors would like to read about first
  • Internal tools that show how your company runs day to day
  • Advantages that only work while nobody has seen them

Publishing any of that would undo the reason you hired us.

We never share anything that could identify a client. Some clients let us describe the logic of a problem in general terms. None of them let us describe every decision, because those decisions are their know-how.

Why we have no public portfolio

Most studios ask you to judge them by their gallery. It is a reasonable habit, and it has a cost nobody mentions: every screen in that gallery belonged to a founder who agreed to show it.

We made a different promise, and it costs us the gallery. A studio with public client screens can work for many founders. It cannot work for a founder in stealth, or for a product whose edge is a flow nobody has copied yet. That founder is who we built Spirixx for.

How to judge a studio whose work you cannot see

You still need evidence before you commit. You get it in three places, all before you spend more than two weeks with us.

  • On the call

Bring the product. A principal tells you what they see in it, live, before you have paid anything. You hear how we think about your numbers, not someone else’s case study.

  • In the first two weeks

The Clarity Sprint produces a written report mapped against your own analytics. You keep it whether or not you continue. The evidence of our work ends up in your hands, not on our website.

  • In the terms

Fixed scope, one defined output every two weeks, and a written guarantee on the entry point: the Sprint is refundable if it does not surface ten times its fee in annual impact.

A portfolio shows what a studio did for someone else. These three show what we would do for you.

How the NDA process runs

  1. You book a call and say you need an NDA first.

  2. We send a mutual NDA, or sign yours, before the call takes place.

  3. The call runs with Ivan or Valeria. Bring the product.

  4. Analytics and internal documents are shared later, once the work is agreed, under the NDA you already signed.

  5. The contract carries its own confidentiality terms for three years after delivery.

All of this fits in the same week as the booking

Three questions before you share anything with any studio

  1. Who on the other side will see your product, and are they the people who will do the work?

At Spirixx it is the two principals on your call.

  2. What happens to your screens after the project ends?

Here, nothing. They are never published.

  3. Does the studio need to talk about you in public to sell itself?

We do not. That is the whole point of the position.

The first call, with and without the NDA

BeforeAfter
You describe the product in vague terms to protect it You show the real product on the first call
You get general advice back You get a specific read of your own flows and numbers
You judge the studio by other founders’ screens You judge it by a report about your product, which you keep
You wonder where your screens will end up You know: nowhere public, for three years after delivery and beyond

FAQ

Can we talk before we share anything sensitive?

Yes. Tell us when you book and we will send a mutual confidentiality agreement ahead of the call.

Will you sign our NDA template instead of yours?

Yes. Send it with the booking. If your legal team needs a few days, the call waits for the signature.

Why does a design studio have no portfolio?

Because we never publish client work. Founders hire us for products and features nobody has seen yet, and a public portfolio would break that promise.

Do you list client names or logos?

No, not without written consent, and none are listed today.

How long does confidentiality last?

Three years after delivery under our standard contract terms.

Let’s talk under NDA

Book the call and say you need the NDA first. It arrives before we speak.

Tell us about your project and the number you’re trying to move. You don’t need a finished brief, just a specific problem.

No deck, no obligation. One conversation, confidential if you want it to be.
